This second edition of the Belgium Taikai was a blast! These two days of training represent the core of the Bujinkan Belgium Community and hardcore it was!
Although not too many people showed up, the place was packed with good atmosphere!

Seven teachers gave their best, providing new insights, advice and good vibes to a group of genuinely dedicated people who had conquered the burden of traveling to this remote place in Belgium, some not once but twice!  Photo’s of the event can be found here and here.

For this taikai people were divided into three groups according to grade, and each group had two or three teachers so that each group had a good portion of dedicated time with them. For the people present, it was a golden opportunity to meet up with their fellow buyu from other dojo’s across the country. Each dojo has it’s own teacher, and each teacher has it’s own flavor.

taikaiteachersTeaching is a way of sharing your knowlegde but also your experiences. This mix of experience and knowledge came beautifully together in a natural and organic way as each teacher shared his understanding and embroidered upon the technique or principle of his predecessor. In this way everything was connected ;) and everyone was listening and feeling this effect.

We all have had a wonderfull time and in case you missed it, don’t despair; next Taikai is just a year away. We continually strive to make this event more pleasurable and prestigious so we promise you this: free t-shirts for everyone (registered for the event) and free lunch!
